This is the first full page i've completed of the childrens book im writing/illustrating. the story is all in rhym and its about this boy who wants to be a tiger and he wears this cute tiger costume and stuff. anyway this is like page 3 or something :nod: its all just watercolours and pencils, crit very welcome :D especially on the font, im not sure about it at all :crazy:

I really like the way you've painted the mother's pants, along with the rest of the clothing. And :heart: to the kitty's expression and the running sink water. The details make the kitchen seem more real. :)

I do wonder, though...Why does the tiger suit not have a tail?

and do you know.. i have no idea why the tiger suit has no tail.. it really should!! i'll have to say its under his hands and around his body so you cant see it in this one.. i'll add it in later and remember it for the next pages!! thankyou for picking that up! nearly a disaster!! :)

a tiger because umm well the idea came because my girlfriend always used to want to be called tiger, no idea why hehe and then i met this little boy who thinks hes a tiger, very cute :D and the next few lines in the book are:

tigers ROAR!
tigers prowl!
they can hunt and jump and growl!

so thats why tim wants to be a tiger ;) anyway thanks so much for the :+fav: and the watch! much appreciated :hug:

As a guy who loves his fonts. (Like, frikkin. Takes 'em out on dates and stuff.) I have to say, this font works, because of the way you've done the sizings and such. (be<big>cause</big> and all that.) And, with the art style (which, I love, btw), it goes quite well.
